Baby Benjamin was so happy in his momma’s belly that he decided to stay in his first home for several extra days. His parents couldn’t wait to meet him, and they’ve been soaking up all of the snuggles since the day he was born.
I loved being able to see Benjamin, Ashley, and Curtis at their home. There were so many personal touches that they incorporated during their session – a blanket quilted by Ashley’s grandmother, an outfit crocheted by Ashley’s mother, and even a photograph of Baby Benjamin’s great grandfather who recently passed away. These are the details that make each session unique; using those items makes the photographs more meaningful and connects generations together.
Doing newborn sessions in my clients’ homes allows me to capture each family in their element. It’s amazing to have photos from this incredibly fleeting time at your own home. Being able to look back and see where your family started is simply something that words cannot describe.
